Installing Cliffy’s Champion Pub Protector Set.

1. Remove Playfield Glass.
2. Empty balls.
3. Lift playfield as shown.
4. Remove apron by removing the two machine screws as shown below in red. Then slide apron towards the rear of the machine and remove.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

5. Remove the items below in red. Note that the blue circle simple pulls out of playfield or can be popped out from under the playfield with a small punch.

6. Ready for the protector (see below)

7. Slide protector into place, align, and reinstall everything. Done with this one!

   

Next, the Jump Rope hole.

1. Remove the post. Clean around the hole with rubbing alcohol or Naphtha for best adhesion of the protector.
2. Remove the protective paper on the underside of the protector and slip into place.
3. Reinstall post and press down on protector to ensure good adhesion. Done with this one!

 

 

Lastly, The Corner Protector.

1. Disconnect the flash lamp on the plastic that is covering The Corner from underneath the playfield and remove plastic.

2. Remove the three screws holding the stainless steel ball guide and remove guide.

3. Clean routed area and apply adhesive backed PETG protector (nearly invisible in pics) If your routed shelf isn't smooth you can also use a dab of clear 100% silicone to adhere protector.

4. Loosen/remove posts as shown and slide protector in place.

 

5. Reassemble in reverse order. Nice!
